PROGRAM

The Movement of God, In Us, Among Us, Through Us

This is nothing new. For over two decades, our vision statement has clearly proclaimed that we envision “Movements of fresh, authentic expressions of the Church….”

Therefore, it’s appropriate as we gather from around the world in Mexico this summer to make The Movement of God the center of our attention.

This theme for the 2014 World Wide Conference captures three seminal components of the movement of God: in us, among us, and through us …all essential for our vision to be fulfilled. More than at any time in our 34-year history, God has entrusted to us all that’s necessary for that vision to be accomplished. And that’s actually what's taking place around the globe. It’s not just words. It’s reality.

For those of you who attended the last World Wide Conference (Malaysia in 2010) you have a very good idea of what the schedule will be like.  We strive real hard to find that perfect balance between work and play.  Below is the overview of the schedule.

Conference Overview
July 20 – Arrival Day (Conference Begins After Dinner)
July 21-22 – Collective, Affiliated Group and Team Meetings
July 22-25 – World Wide Conference
July 26 – Departure Day/Additional meeting day for InnerCHANGE, Missional Communities and SDCT.

See the 2014 Conference Schedule (subject to change)

The conferecne schedule allows for free time in the afternoons and most of the day on Wednesday.

The hotel has great facilities including a beautiful pool, gym, spa (not inclusive), many food options and of course the beach.

The free time alloted for wednesday allows you to particpate in some fantastic excursions.  Visit the Excursion Page on this website for more info on the Excursions.

The 2010 World Wide Conference found that sweet spot between content and connection.  This was accomplished by using a select handful of our own people during the plenary sessions.  To mix it up a bit we brought in a few guest teachers to share with us in smaller "Learning Tracks".  Finally we asked many of you to share in optional informal seminars or workshop offerings called "Conversations".

As we look ahead at the schedule and the WWC program, it will be similar in format to our last WWC in Malaysia. That means that there will be three formal channels of sharing, learning and being together:

1) Plenary Gatherings

2) Learning Tracks

3) Learning Spaces
